Witness list in the Tupac trial names Suge Knight

Suge Knight is on the witness list in the murder trial against Duane Davis. But the only surviving eyewitness from the BMW does not want to testify.

He was behind the wheel of the BMW in which Tupac was shot on September 7, 1996. Today, Suge Knight is the only direct eyewitness from the car who is still alive. A few days before the start of the trial in the murder case against Duane “Keffe D” Davis, his name is now on the witness list. Knight is serving a 28-year sentence in California. The Source reported on August 3 that his listing indicates either the prosecution or the defense intends to compel his testimony.

No Help for Investigators

Knight had repeatedly said that he did not want to help investigators. On August 11, media reported he wanted to be kept out of the proceedings (“I don’t get paid to solve homicides”).

The prosecution does not accuse Davis of having fired the shots himself. Under Nevada law, however, anyone who orders or facilitates a crime can also be convicted. The overview: The investigation.
