Lawsuit Against Amaru: Daz Dillinger Demands Royalties From Tupac's Estate

He wrote and produced five songs on 'All Eyez On Me': Now Daz Dillinger is suing Amaru Entertainment for royalties and an accounting.

No fewer than five songs from All Eyez On Me are on the list: On May 8, 2026, producer and rapper Daz Dillinger filed a lawsuit against Amaru Entertainment, the Tupac estate’s company. He claims he is owed royalties for more than a dozen songs he co-wrote and produced-including “Ambitionz az a Ridah""Skandalouz""Got My Mind Made Up""2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted”and “I Ain’t Mad at Cha”.

$91,000 Without an Accounting

According to the complaint, Dillinger last demanded money in 2024 and received $91,000 from Amaru without any statements being provided. He suspects further amounts are owed. Dillinger demands a full audit of revenues and licenses, as well as damages for breach of contract.

His attorney Bret Lewis expects an amicable settlement. The estate declined to comment. Further disputes are documented in the overview under Legal Cases.
