“All Eyez on Me”: New Trailer Shows Tupac's Youth

As a child, Tupac witnesses how violent police raids hit his family and his community. On February 10, 2017, a new trailer for All Eyez on Me was released, which according to Billboard places precisely these youth years at the center. The strongest scene is a conversation with his mother (Afeni Shakur), who predicts that he will be given “the tools” to destroy himself.

Shipp Jr. Bears an Uncanny Resemblance to the Real Tupac

Billboard noted how strikingly lead actor Demetrius Shipp Jr. resembles the real Tupac. Also briefly visible are Jamal Woolard as The Notorious B.I.G. and Dominic L. Santana as Suge Knight.

Billboard embedded the trailer via Consequence of Sound. The theatrical release was scheduled for June 16, Tupac’s birthday (see release date).
