E-40: "One or two" unreleased Tupac verses sit in his archive
On Questlove's show, E-40 says he still keeps one or two Tupac verses from before "Dusted 'n' Disgusted". No release date was given.
There is apparently still some Tupac in E-40’s collection that nobody has heard. On The Questlove Show, host Questlove asked whether his archive held unreleased recordings by Tupac, Mac Dre or B-Legit. The Vallejo rapper’s answer: “I got maybe one or two Tupac verses in an archive.” AllHipHop reported on the conversation on October 13, 2026.
A recording from before “Dusted ‘n’ Disgusted”
E-40 placed one of these recordings before Dusted ‘n’ Disgusted, the first released collaboration between the two. Even before that, he said, they had recorded something together that never came out. He recalled a visit by Tupac to Studio Tone in Vallejo.
Dusted ‘n’ Disgusted appeared in 1995 on E-40’s album In a Major Way, with Spice 1 and Mac Mall. Million Dollar Spot on Tha Hall of Game followed in 1996. In turn, Tupac brought E-40 onto Ain’t Hard 2 Find on All Eyez on Me, together with Richie Rich, B-Legit and C-Bo.
Faster than everyone else
What stuck with E-40 from those sessions was above all Tupac’s speed. While the others were still writing their lines, he said, Tupac had already finished his part and was going from room to room to check on everyone else.
E-40 did not say exactly what is on the tapes. He named no titles and gave no release date. Whether the verses will ever come out is therefore open; decisions about unreleased material from Tupac’s catalog are generally made by his estate. Further collaborations with Bay Area rappers are collected on the Featured Songs page.
