Jailhouse Brawl: New Charge Against Duane "Keffe D" Davis

On December 23, 2024, the situation escalated at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas. Right in the middle of preparations for his murder trial, Duane “Keffe D” Davis became entangled in new legal proceedings in jail. In late January 2025, it became known that he was being investigated for battery by a prisoner. On February 7, the grand jury indicted him on charges of “battery by a prisoner” and challenging someone to a fight.

First greeted, then went at each other

Before the grand jury, a corrections officer testified that Davis and fellow inmate Rochlon Hamilton had greeted each other and then immediately gone at each other. Both have been charged. According to a police report, Davis stated that he had only been “standing his ground.”
