Tupac Murder Case: Two Podcasters Offer $100,000 Reward

On the 26th anniversary of his death on September 13, 2022, money was meant to break the silence: two podcasters jointly offered $100,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the murder of Tupac Shakur. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on the move on September 19.

David Kohlmeier (46), a former police officer in New York City and Henderson, Nevada, hosts the podcast The Problem Solver. Jon Orlando comes from the podcast Action Junkeez. Both are offering $50,000 each.

A Private Initiative Without Authorities

“In America, reward money makes people talk,” Kohlmeier told the newspaper. He also wanted to stir up other unsolved cases in Las Vegas, such as bodies in Lake Mead. The offer is private and does not come from the police or the district attorney’s office.

There was no arrest in 2022 yet. How the investigation continued later is described on the page Investigations.
