Filming of "All Eyez on Me" Wraps in Las Vegas

When shots rang out on the Strip, local reporters rushed to the scene: they mistook the blanks for real gunfire, as The Source reported. In mid-April 2016, the cast of All Eyez on Me wrapped filming on the final scenes in Las Vegas. According to Vibe, citing Global Grind, the movie moved into post-production.

Shipp in Court and an Honor for the Team

Producer L.T. Hutton shared videos on Instagram of lead actor Demetrius Shipp Jr. with Dominic L. Santana, who plays Suge Knight. Clark County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly honored the production team. On April 26, the outlet shared an Instagram clip in which Shipp reenacts an appearance by Tupac outside a courthouse, the “first look” at the film.

Release Date Pushed to June 2017

Reports initially cited September, then November 2016 as the release date. The actual date was pushed back significantly: it became June 16, 2017.
