CIA Tweet: "We Don't Know Where Tupac Is"
Marking its first month on Twitter, the CIA shared humorous replies-and inadvertently fueled the rumor mill with a tweet about Tupac.
When the U.S. intelligence agency CIA celebrated its first month on Twitter, the agency published a series of humorous replies. It promised Ellen DeGeneres a selfie if she dropped by headquarters. And on July 7, 2014, it tweeted from the official account: “No, we don’t know where Tupac is”.
