On February 13, 2026, All Eyez on Me turned thirty. Two days earlier, the Recording Academy had inducted the double album into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In the summer came what has become standard for round anniversaries: a vinyl anniversary edition with a redesigned cover.

The edition is a reissue, not a new album. Going by what retailers state, it contains the same 27 tracks as in 1996, in the same order.

Four records in gold

The most extensive version was offered by the shop of Complex magazine: four LPs on gold-colored vinyl in a gatefold jacket with reimagined cover art. The 27 tracks are spread across eight sides, from Ambitionz az a Ridah on side A to Heaven Ain’t Hard 2 Find on side H. The price was 79.98 dollars, with a limit of four copies per customer. Shipping began on July 17, 2026.

The official 2Pac store and Interscope’s store also carry a four-LP set with the same 27 tracks, for 79.98 and 89.98 dollars respectively. Whether this is the same pressing is not clear from the product pages; they mention neither color nor anniversary.

Two records in a concrete look

In the UK, the music shop uDiscover announced a double LP for August 7, 2026, on marbled vinyl in the color “Concrete Swirl”, likewise with a never-before-seen reimagined cover. The shop names Polydor as the label. The price was 35.99 pounds. As of October 22, 2026, the edition was sold out.

The shop does not publish a track list. Which tracks are missing from the two records, or whether they are edited, could not be determined.

What is not documented

Research in October 2026 turned up no press release from the estate or from Interscope about the edition, and no information on pressing quantities. A digital anniversary version with bonus material cannot be found: Apple Music still lists the 27-track version, with the rights held by Amaru Entertainment under license to Interscope. No unreleased recordings, demos or remixes have been announced.

The edition thus follows the pattern of previous years. For the 30th anniversary of Me Against the World, a double LP in “Midnight Mist” appeared in 2025, according to the retailer with new packaging design and a poster, but with no announced new recordings. More on the reissues under Vinyl and collecting.

The edition brings no new music. It does show that an album that set records on CD thirty years ago now goes onto the shelf as a gold record.
