Ahead of the Murder Trial: British Company Secures Exclusive Access to "Keffe D"
Pioneer Productions secures exclusive access to Duane "Keffe D" Davis and his family. A documentary about the murder trial is planned.
Cameras in court: British company Pioneer Productions has secured exclusive access to Duane “Keffe D” Davis and his family for a documentary about the upcoming murder trial. In early February 2026, AllHipHop reported on the project, citing a report by Deadline.
Screenwriter Divens Brokers the Deal
The deal was reportedly brokered by screenwriter Jon Aubrey Divens, known as a producer of the original Blade films. He had reportedly built a personal relationship with Davis. The plan is to follow him before the trial, during the proceedings, and immediately afterward. Davis’ son Duane “Lil Keefe” Davis Jr. is also involved.
High Interest, Open Status
The report shows the high public interest in the proceedings. The defendant continues to be presumed innocent. Whether this project was completed is not known. In September 2026, another production announced a documentary on the trial; see the report of September 22.
