Baltimore Orioles Announce Tupac Bobblehead Night
A bobblehead for his youth: The Baltimore Orioles announce a bobblehead night in honor of Tupac for May 8, 2026.
At their home game against the Athletics on May 8, 2026, the Baltimore Orioles will hand out a Tupac bobblehead to fans. The baseball team announced the bobblehead night on January 12, 2026.
Billboard notes that Tupac, anchored in West Coast rap, spent parts of his teenage years in Baltimore during the 1980s. There, he lived with his sister and his mother Afeni Shakur.
The Tribute Meets with Opposition
The promotion did not meet with approval everywhere: a guest commentary in the Baltimore Sun called the choice in May the wrong signal. How the evening went is covered in the report from May 8, 2026.
