Signed “2 PAC”: Above the Rim Script Auctioned

On the title page, Tupac signed in black ballpoint pen: “2 PAC”. On November 21, 2024, the script for the 1994 film Above the Rim was up for auction at the Nate D. Sanders auction house in Los Angeles. In the basketball drama, he played the antagonist Birdie Sheppard. Alongside him, other cast members also signed the script.

A Working Copy from David Bailey’s Possession

The 8.5-by-11-inch copy originally belonged to actor David Bailey, who plays Coach Mike Rollins in the film. Its multicolored pages represent earlier drafts of the script. Apart from a missing middle brad, the script is in very good condition; it comes with a photo from the shoot and a certificate of authenticity from Bailey’s son. The reports do not state the hammer price.

From Bandana to Crown Ring

The auction is part of a series of auctions featuring Tupac memorabilia. In March 2023, an auction house offered a bandana and ring; in July 2023, the crown ring brought over a million dollars.
