Mopreme Shakur: Sean Combs should be questioned too
Tupac's stepbrother wants police to question Sean Combs as well. Combs denies any involvement and has not been charged.
In mid-October 2023, Mopreme Shakur told the interview series The Art of Dialogue that Las Vegas police need to talk to Sean “Diddy” Combs as well. In his own statements, he said, Davis had named other people, “Puffy” among them. Mopreme believes there were accomplices who have not all been examined.
Understand first, then trust
The family wants to understand the process and is waiting to see “if we can trust this process.” The indictment, he noted, rests on Davis’s own words.
In another clip Mopreme said Combs phoned him in the 2000s and denied any part in his brother’s death. The truth, he added, has yet to come out.
A retracted article
The background is a 2008 Los Angeles Times article that implicated Combs’s associates and was later retracted. Combs called it “beyond ridiculous and completely false” at the time. He has not been charged and is not treated as a suspect by police. See The Investigation.
