“We Will Sue Everyone”
The family reacted decisively. Through her representatives, Afeni Shakur announced that she would sue anyone attempting to sell a Tupac video. According to rap.de, she assembled a legal team and had an investigation launched into who possessed the tape. rap.de itself called the matter unpleasant and embarrassing.
What Came of It
In December 2011, TMZ reported that the video had been sold to a private collector for an unknown price. The previous owner had not wanted to sell to a porn company as a matter of principle, Complex wrote. The estate had previously stated that it would do everything to prevent a release.
