"Live at the House of Blues" Released on Blu-ray
Tupac's last major concert performance from July 4, 1996, came out in high definition in May 2010, with five bonus tracks and promo videos.
On July 4, 1996, a good two months before the shooting in Las Vegas, Tupac was on stage at the House of Blues. In April 2010, Eagle Rock Entertainment announced the recording for May 25 as a high-definition Blu-ray.
24 Tracks, a Joint Finale
The concert film first shows Tupac with the Outlawz, including “Ambitions as a Ridah”, “Hit ‘Em Up”, and “How Do U Want It” together with K-Ci & JoJo. Then Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Daz, and Nate Dogg take over as Tha Dogg Pound with tracks such as “Murder Was The Case” and “Gin And Juice”. In the end, everyone comes together for “2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted”.
As extras, the disc included promotional videos and five bonus tracks. The suggested retail price was 19.98 dollars. More about the evening and the first release on DVD can be found under the concert film Tupac: Live at the House of Blues.
